Hi, I’m Emma, the Founder and Director of Canvas and Dreams, and I’m a mum to two beautiful children who are my inspiration for the business and party themes. Since they were little, I’ve created themed birthday parties for them, and organised countless adult parties.

I basically love parties and party planning; it’s a passion of mine!

The restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic generated a desire for us all to PARTY AT HOME! During some time spent planning one of my parties, I discovered that the gazebo hire industry was a niche market-place, with most companies catering for larger events. What seemed to be missing was providing a party space at home that wasn’t the size of a festival marquee! Somewhere big enough to seat lots of little party people, dance in, relax in a spa, watch a movie….a space to make lots of happy memories in your own home.

In 2023 Canvas and Dreams added luxury Igloo Domes to our portfolio, and 2024 saw a very exciting development…with the addition of our EVENT PLANNING SERVICE! We now have a directory of all the best local venues and suppliers in Dorset, who are professional and dedicated like us, all with 5 star ratings.
